Applique!

My sister makes lovely (and very neat!) applique cushion covers which can be found in her new Etsy Shop - I've been inspired to have a go myself (pictured above). This one is just a panel at the moment which I might make into a cushion cover. I'm keen to do some more applique, so I'll show the results here when they're done.

New Items etc

I found this amazing vintage fabric which I'm really pleased with. For some time I've been admiring the doll on this lovely hanging wall tidy from my 70s St Michael craft book (I made a similar one for my baby twin girls a while ago) the fabric they used is exactly the same! I decided to use the fabric to make some little dolls now available in my Etsy Shop.

And finally this is a couple of wholesale orders I made over the Easter break. The first one is for a brand new shop opening in Exmouth called "INC" and the second is for a shop in Shrewsbury (where I grew up) called "BAJA Interiors".

I have added lots of new sausage dogs in my Etsy shop. They've been made from a wide variety of fabrics including vintage 40s,60s and 70s plus some in Liberty, Orla Kiely and Cath Kidston fabrics!
