I always feel inspired by other people's furniture makeovers, so I've taken the decision to paint my once dark and worn 1970s teak display cabinet in a much more uplifting white and blue. For the main body I used "Batsman" and the top is "Polar Blue" both by Little Greene. I love 1950s kitchens and in my dream house I would have original 50s kitchen units in these colours!
The little 70's children's deck chair is one I picked up from the local market yesterday and the poster is one I've had for a few years. I never tire of it, so hard to believe it was originally designed in 1928!

You must have read my mind because I have just aquired an retro drinks cabinet with some damaged veneer so I need to paint it but really had no idea what colour etc...yours is fab and really makes all of your collectables stand out, has certainly givin me a few ideas! x
